You cannot use a dictionary!

If you find the questions too difficult, you may skip them.

The test is divided into groups:

  • Questions 1–30 = A1 level (Beginner)
  • Questions 31–60 = A2 level (Elementary)
  • Questions 61–90 = A2+/B1 level (Elementary+/Pre-Intermediate)
  • Questions 91–120 = B1/B1+ level (Pre-Intermediate / Low-Intermediate)
  • Questions 121–150 = B1+/B2 level (Intermediate)

So, if you have been studying Russian for a short time and your level is about A1, you may answer only the first 30 questions and stop there. You will immediately see which answers are correct.

If you think your level is quite high, you should complete the whole test, starting from question 1.


What is your score?

  • 0 – 10 = A1 (Beginner)
  • 11 – 33 = A1+ (Beginner+)
  • 34 – 64 = A2 (Elementary)
  • 65 – 93 = A2+ (Elementary+)
  • 94 – 130 = B1 (Pre-Intermediate)
  • 131 – 145 = B1+ (Low-Intermediate)
  • 146 – 150 = B2 (Intermediate)
